We are only six days into March, and already submissions have reached record monthly highs. Lets give a big hand to everyone who has been contributing! (Everyone at headquarters has risen from their cubicles to give a standing ovation. I wish we had Skype capabilities so you could see this... It's really quite a hearty hand...)Our inbox is constantly being crammed with so much plaid, it's hard to believe there is even a brief window when we are not manning the computers here at headquarters in order to keep up. But last night, while the night shifters were completing their mandatory shut eye detail, our mainframe recieved a midnight message from the PVP, OIC (Official International Correspondent), code name: CODA, reporting from Paris, to inform us that we have been linked to THE MORNING NEWS, (www.themorningnews.org) An online magazine, published weekdays since 1999. This is very exciting for us, since we have been perusers of this publication since 1999, and we think it's good.
In addition to his title as PVP, OIC (Official International Correspondent), CODA is also the PVP, MMR, (Minister of Musical Recommendations) bringing musical talent to our attention since 1995. In a side note to his news about The Morning News, he asked, "Surely you've seen the promotional photo from [Brooklyn based band] Hercules & Love Affair?" Which of course we hadn't, but we have included it here as today's first post. 3/6/08
