PVP PILGRIMAGE TO PLAID MECCA

This weekend we sent Senior Editors-At-Large: (aliases) Old Man & Robbie, who were joined by our two Maverick Field Correspondents, aka, The Jewelers of Lakeview: (aliases) AWESOME and RAD, on a Pilgrimage to the Buffalo Plaid Capitol of the World, The Johnson Woolen Mills, in Johnson, Vermont to check out the plaid line for fall '08. Documentation of the journey and the collection was spearheaded by RAD who also acted as stylist for the shoot. We are not sure who they ended up hiring as the photographer, because our first choice, Danielle, was pre-engaged shooting Neil Patrick Harris for GQ on location in Alaska, But whoever they were, we think they did a pretty darn good job. With Hunting season approaching, we will be sending another squadron to the North Country next weekend to relieve those who have been in the field for some time now, So much plaid to see these days, their eyes are getting tired.

BLACK and ORANGE and ABOUT TIME...

We have finally scraped together enough funds to pay the stipends of our PVP ESD (Extension Services Department) Interns who we immediately assigned the task of hand painting the plaid on the Orange Fabric sent into us by Ms. Rittgers, of Minnesota who found our site while searching for orange and black plaid for her Dad. (See March Archives) We are very sorry it has taken us this long, and we really, truly appreciate Ms. Rittger's patience with us these past few months while we have been short on funds and backlogged on projects and in the midst of moving PVP Headquarters to its new, secure and more spacious than before (but not nearly spacious enough) location, And finally we are able to have our eager interns follow through on all previous projects. Stay tuned for orange and black plaid painting updates.
